I practice adult neurology in Charlotte, NC. I have been practicing neurology for more than 25 years. It has been an honor and privilege to care for thousands of patients. As a general neurologist, I care for patients across the neurological spectrum including patients with migraine, stroke, MS, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, epilepsy, cervical and lumbar spine disease, and peripheral neuropathy. I have been honored to be chosen as one of Charlotte Magazine “Top Docs.”
I graduated Magna cum Laude from Davidson College and Emory University School of Medicine. I attended Emory as a Woodruff Fellow. I completed my internship in internal medicine, neurology residency, and stroke fellowship at Wake Forest University.
I am certified in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Headache Society, the Southern Headache Society, the North Carolina Neurological Society, and the Mecklenburg County Medical Society. I am a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I was privileged to be inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society when I was in medical school. The motto of AOA is “Be worthy to serve the suffering.” I aspire to this goal each day.
